It's the Thuggish Rubbish NBA

What's the deal with the NBA. I think David Stern needs to go. The last few years the NBA has taken hit after hit, in the eyes of the public. Let's go back to the the "Malice at the Palace." The fight that took place between the Pacers and Pistons and Fans back in 2004. We've had a NBA ref, sent to jail for betting on NBA games. And now we've got accusations that two players are drawing guns on each other. They're denying that report, but there is no denying the fact that guns were involved.
I consider myself a casual NBA fan. I watch more Wild games than Timberwolves games, but I watch many more NBA games than I do NHL. So what message is the NBA sending a fan like me. I'm supposed to watch these gang banging thugs make millions of dollars. Are we to believe that Gilbert Arenas is the only player that brings his gun into the locker room? This falls on David Stern. He is letting this league run wild. Does anyone actually think that if Roger Goodell was the commissioner of the NBA this stuff would be happening?
We need to start at the beginning. How about we keep the college coaches, agents, boosters out of the middle school gyms. How about we require these athletes to be smarter than a box of rocks. How about we make them go to school for 2 years, or go live in Europe for 2 years. And if we do make them spend two years in college, how about someone actually makes them go to class.
The NBA has to be the biggest collection of unintelligent, thuggish, moronic, ungrateful people on earth. It's as if the NBA is unevolving. Sure they are some expectations. But as a group everyone from the commissioner on down to the bench players are all a bunch of numb skulls. Look at the big name players, almost everyone one of them has had some sort of problem in the past. What needs to happen for David Stern to actually take a stand? Do we need Gilbert Arenas, to end up pistol whipping a fan, while a ref is fixing a game? It's not that far fetched.
