I don't like seeing guys suffer season long injuries. But the city of Boston is one fan base I'm glad something like this happened too. How many times have they been victorious in the recent past?
Red Sox 2 world series.
Patriots 3 super bowls
Celtics 1 NBA championship
Boston College 1 NCAA hockey championship
So it really couldn't have happened to a better city actually. What I find annoying is all the Boston fans that live amongst us. I don't remember seeing Red Sox, Celtics, or Patriot gear 10 years ago. But now every Dan McHeyer out there supports these teams. What is the fascination? The Red Sox are supposed to be the Anti-Yankees. They spend second most in the MLB. What about the Celtics who went out and bought a NBA championship. Or you have the Patriots who cheated to get there. Why is their bandwagon so full? To me these people are complete sell out idiots. Yeah the first Red Sox world series was cute. But it's over now, the Boston teams are just rich and greedy bitches, who are just New York north.
